District Plan Change 25 Proposal - New commercial zone at Bulls.
The requested Plan Change relates to 12,485m2 of land fronting Bridge Street (SH 1) and Dalziel Street, Bulls. The request seeks to rezone a site presently zoned Industrial and create a new zone to be called "Special Commercial Zone". The new zone is designed to cater for a specific proposed development of the site for a supermarket and other retail activities.
Requested Plan Change 25 was notified on Saturday 12 December 2009. Submissions closed on Wednesday 3 February 2010. Further submissions closed on Friday 26 February 2010.
A hearing was held on Wednesday 5 May 2010 at the Council Chambers, 46 High Street, Marton - 10am.
