In the News & Events section you will find:
Adverts - Electronic copies of the latest adverts from the Council that aappear in local newspapers.
Bulletins - Monthly column that appears in the local paper.
Consultation - Informing the public as to what documents/plans are up for consultation. Split into three sections (shown below):
Council - What the Council is consulting the public on - such as LTCCP, Bylaw Reviews, Plan Changes etc.
External - What the Council is submitting on, in response to consultation undertaken by other organisations, such as other local authorities and central government.
Future - Upcoming public consultation dates and information when available.
Events - Council run only events.
District Events - List of events around the district for the current month. Please be aware that as these are not Council run events we take no responsibility for their accuracy.
Recurring District Events - Lists of events that recure during the month. Please be aware that as these are not Council run events we take no responsibility for their accuracy.
Meeting Schedule - Time, date, location information for Council run meetings - Community Boards, Community Committees, Council Committees etc.
Press Releases - Press releases when they become available.
