Youth

Rangitīkei District Council has established its first Youth Council in 2019. Youth Councils are a formal body made up of youth who advise Councillors from a youth perspective. It is an opportunity for youth to work alongside Councillors and council, get more involved in solving local problems and actively engage in the community.

It further provides a platform for you to have input on policies AND direct access to the policy makers. Our Youth Council members for 2019 have begun with huge enthusiasm and a drive to continue to make the Rangitikei a great place be a youth.
