Mangapapa River Slip

Rangitīkei District Council is aware of a slip blocking Mangapapa River upstream of where it meets the Turakina River. Horizons Regional Council is monitoring the situation, and there is no immediate risk to homes or infrastructure.

Marton and Surrounds ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Hubs

A partnership of four local organisations, with funding from the Department of Internal Affairs (Community Partnership Fund), LBS Dudding Trust and the Whanganui Community Foundation, established computer training facilities, which also offer public internet access.
