Simplifying Local Government - Rangitikei at the table (Closed)
Following the Government’s Head Start process announcement on 5 May 2026, Council sought feedback from our community from 1 June – 22 June 2026 to help us form an opinion on how we should approach the reorganisation of local government. A series of public meetings were held across the district during the feedback period, as well as an online Q & A session. Council received 333 responses to the survey, and this has provided useful insight about what is important to our community.
