Community Volunteer Awards 2026
Back after a three-year break, the Rangitīkei Community Volunteer Awards celebrate the many volunteers who make a difference across community service, welfare, sport and recreation, culture, arts and education sectors in Rangitīkei.
It's time for you to start thinking about who you would like to see acknowledged for their contributions.
Nominations will open on Friday, 6 February and close on Friday, 13 March.
The Rangitīkei District Council’s Community Volunteer Awards are the District’s highest recognition for voluntary service, honouring contributions made to the community by individual citizens.
The awards offer an opportunity to recognise all the wonderful volunteers we have in our community who have contributed significantly to the community service, welfare, sport and recreation, culture, arts and education sectors.
Nominees will have contributed significant time and work in areas such as community service, welfare, sport and recreation, culture and the arts or education.
Award recipients will be acknowledged at an awards evening.
