Community Volunteer Awards
The Rangitīkei District Council’s Community Volunteer Awards are the district’s highest recognition for voluntary service, honouring contributions made to the community by individual citizens.
This year's Mayor's Award Winner was Jo Rangooni of Bulls, who was presented with her award by Mayor Andy Watson at Te Matapihi on Monday 4 May.
The awards offer an opportunity to recognise all the wonderful volunteers we have in our community who have contributed significantly to the community service, welfare, sport and recreation, culture, arts and education sectors.
Winners have contributed significant time and work in areas such as community service, welfare, sport and recreation, culture and the arts or education.
