Mayor Andy Watson will host a meeting, open to the public, to correct mis-information about the cost of the recent 7-day makeovers held in Bulls and Marton and the placemaking initiatives undertaken across the District.

Initially Mayor Watson was going to address this issue as part of the Marton Town Centre Plan Steering Group meeting on Tuesday evening, but Mayor Andy says “there is widespread interest in the mis-information that has been put in the public arena by a member of the public. I want to give the public the correct information and not take away from the good work the Steering Group is doing or hinder that process, so I have decided to host a separate meeting on the issue of the costs.” The project team will still hold their planning meeting on Tuesday evening as scheduled.

The meeting will be held on Monday, 14 March at 5.30pm in the Friendship Hall, 7 Morris Street, Marton.
