Reappointment of Ross McNeil, Chief Executive

Mayor Andy Watson announced that the current Chief Executive, Ross McNeil, has been reappointed for two years to the role of Chief Executive. Under the provisions of the Local Government Act the Council is allowed to reappoint for a maximum of two years before it has to re-advertise the role.

Mayor Andy said “I am very pleased to announce Ross’s reappointment, this gives us stability at a time where we have to deal with a number of ongoing work programmes and we value his expertise and leadership. I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating him.”

Ross has been Chief Executive of the Rangitikei District Council since March 2013.
