Mangapapa River Slip

Rangitīkei District Council is aware of a slip blocking Mangapapa River upstream of where it meets the Turakina River. Horizons Regional Council is monitoring the situation, and there is no immediate risk to homes or infrastructure.

Tutaenui Dam Guided Walk

Take part in the Tutaenui Dam Guided walk which is on, Saturday 4 March, the walk starts at 10.30am.

Rangitikei District Council has been working with the Tutaenui Stream Restoration society to explore opportunities for community access to the Tutaenui Reservoir as a walking track.

These reservoirs are the water supply for Marton township, have a beautiful bush backdrop, and are close to Marton.
