Rangitīkei youth are now able to have a bigger say in how their district is shaped with the creation of the Rangitikei Youth Council, funded by the Rangitikei District Council.
Applications are open through to 1 February, for 13-24 year old Rangitikei residents, who would like to be considered for one of the 11 member seats.
The main criteria is that you are motivated, enthusiastic and driven to participate in youth council and in the community. This will be great opportunity to learn about governance, grow leadership skills and work as a team.
