Keen to stand for local body elections? There's great rewards but a lot you need to know beforehand about the process. Local Government New Zealand put together this Candidates Guide specifically for those thinking of standing.

We're putting together lots of helpful information for both voters and candidates on our website, and as we approach the elections there will be lots of procedural information on our facebook page as well.
