Council has just installed filtered water taps at the Marton Memorial Hall - Wellington Road.

Today a mains water filtration system was installed in the car park area at the War Memorial Hall.
It is located on the outside wall, left hand side of the building.

The water is filtered through a 4-stage filtration system, removing unwanted odours and taste. The filtering process is:
Stage 1 - Micro-filter removes particles
Stage 2 - Carbon Filter removes odours
Stage 3 - Another Micro-filter polishes the water
Stage 4 - UV filter system for sterilisation

There are two taps available for residents to fill their bottles. The facility is ready for use now.
