Mangapapa River Slip

Rangitīkei District Council is aware of a slip blocking Mangapapa River upstream of where it meets the Turakina River. Horizons Regional Council is monitoring the situation, and there is no immediate risk to homes or infrastructure.

Council has decided to close all Rangitīkei District Council owned public toilets expect:

  • Accessible toilets in Bulls - Rangitīkei Junction, Bridge Street
  • Accessible toilets in Taihape, Tui Street.

These two toilets are open 24 hours and will receive daily cleaning.

Closure to all other public toilets take effect immediately until further notice.
