Rangitīkei College - Scholarship Recipients

Monique and Shardae presented to Council’s public forum session at the Council meeting on 17 December. Both students from Rangitīkei College received $1000 scholarships from the Rangitīkei District Council.
Shardae said she is attending Otiwhiti Land Based Training School in 2021 and the scholarship will help her purchase the much needed farm equipment for her training and for payments towards her heading puppy, Scout. Monique will be beginning a nursing course at UCOL in Palmerston North in 2021, and her scholarship will help her pay for a laptop, study books and a uniform.
The Council were really impressed by the gratitude and passion of these two students and congratulated them on their achievements.
