Rangitikei residents, especially those living in Marton, are asked to make sure valuables are secured and kept out of sight on their properties. This warning comes after Police advised the Council that there has been an increase in burglaries lately.

Mayor Andy Watson said “Police gave us the message this week that there has been an increase in items being taken from properties across Rangitikei. I am asking residents to be vigilant, make sure you do not have items in view of the small number of ‘undesirables’ that may be tempted to enter your property and remove them.”
