Closure of Lower High Street Toilets

Council wishes to advise that the public toilets located on Lower High Street, Marton will be permanently closed as from 6pm Sunday 9 May 2021.

Public toilets are now available at the following sites:

  • Marton Plunket/restrooms (closed Sundays)
  • Centennial Park
  • Follett Street (open 24 hours)
  • Te Ahuru Mowai Playground (adjacent Marton Memorial hall)

The murals on the building which were designed and painted as part of a Youth Project from students from Rangitīkei College will be relocated to the Marton Rugby Clubrooms located on Marton Park.
