UPDATE 14 April 2021

Kuripapango Bridge strengthening programme is into it's first month and work is still on target. Contractors are finishing up work on the Napier side of the bridge, and have started to remove scaffolding from this half of the bridge. For the next phase, contractors will install the scaffolding on the RangitĪkei side of the bridge. Once that's complete, they will start strengthening the steel on that side. There will be minimal amount of work happening on site on Monday and Tuesday as we are preparing for the next stage.
