Local students meet the Mayor

Mayor Andy Watson hosted Years One and Two students from Marton Junction School this week as part of their road trip around the District.
Students met with the Mayor and staff in the Council Chambers, sat in the Mayors office and got to try on the Mayoral chains. Rangitīkei District Council was one stop on their journey to learn about different jobs and organisations in our District.
