Pavement testing - Broadway, Marton

Downer NZ are planning to undertake pavement testing on the roundabout located between Broadway and Wellington Road on Sunday, 19 July between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. A stop/go operation will be implemented to enable the workers to undertake the test pits on areas around the roundabout and traffic will be held for short periods at a time in each direction.

Tui Street, Taihape Public Toilets Closed For Maintenance

The public toilets on Tui Street, Taihape will be soon be undergoing maintenance.

The men's and women's toilets will be closed on the following days:

  • Men’s from 9am Tuesday 14 December until 5pm.
  • Women’s from 9am Wednesday 15 December until 5pm.

During these closures the unisex accessible toilet will still be available for use.

Alternative toilets are available at Taihape Memorial Park (12 Kokako Street) and BP Petrol Station (Hautapu Street)
