Pavement testing - Broadway, Marton

Downer NZ are planning to undertake pavement testing on the roundabout located between Broadway and Wellington Road on Sunday, 19 July between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. A stop/go operation will be implemented to enable the workers to undertake the test pits on areas around the roundabout and traffic will be held for short periods at a time in each direction.

Council would like to advise road works will commence on Broadway, Marton between the hours of 6pm to 6am Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane; however some vehicle stoppages may occur from time to time.

Drivers are asked to avoid this area if possible.
