Treated water at critical level for Taihape residents

Taihape is running out of treated water.
Recent changing weather patterns have created pressure on the treatment plant and is slowing down the ability for water to be treated.
Urgent maintenance work will happen on Thursday 2 June including a 24-hour shut down period. Residents must conserve water now to ensure the reservoir doesn’t run out during this time.
