Rangitīkei District Council adopts new gambling policies
At the Council meeting on Wednesday, 30 April, Rangitīkei District Council adopted its Gambling Venue (Class 4) Policy and its TAB Venue Policy.

These policies have been reviewed and consulted on, and no significant changes have been made with only small alterations to adhere to current legislation.
The status quo will remain in place with these new policies, which means that the limit on gaming machines (aka pokies) will remain the same, and no stand-alone TAB venues will be permitted in the district.
