They will be checking stormwater downpipes, house lateral pipes and gully traps which are drains for wastewater and are located outside a dwelling by the bathroom, toilet, laundry, or kitchen. It will take approximately 5 minutes for the inspections.

If there is a wastewater manhole located on your property, more time may be required.

You do not need to be present on your property while these inspections are being done. If you would like to discuss any issues with access to your property for the inspections, letters have been dropped into impacted properties and include contact details.

Additionally, TWA will be working with Council staff to inspect wastewater manholes on some selected roads between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm. Noise will be kept to a minimum and traffic management will be in place where required.
