Terms and Conditions

By participating in “SHOP LOCAL RANGITĪKEI” campaign facilitated and delivered by Rangitīkei District Council (“RDC”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition Terms and Conditions:

1. The campaign period is 28 October 2024 to 19 December 2024
2. Entry is gained through the purchase of goods and services from a business or service provider whose usual place of business is within the Rangitīkei District.
3. The minimum purchase amount is $20 per entry and entries are limited to one per $20 spend.
4. Purchases made that include the purchase of alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, and gambling are excluded.
5. Entry is open to New Zealand residents only, who are permanently residing in New Zealand at the time of the competition. Employees of RDC and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
6. Use of a false name or address or tampering or non-readable receipts and contact details will result in disqualification and organisers have the right to re-draw a valid entry.
7. A business owner, employee or worker cannot enter an entry from their own place of work.
8. Competition details for part of these terms and conditions.
9. The entrants must be over 18 years or over.
10. Winners must provide proof of age to claim prizes.
11. Winners contact details (name and contact phone number) must be included for each entry.
12. Winners must respond within 7 days of being notified to collect their prize.
13. Should the above criteria not be met, the organisers reserve the right to disqualify the entry and redraw a valid entry until a valid winner is found.

Competition Details

Prize Details:

1. Each prize consists of 1 x $100 Visa prezzie card® per week for the period of the promotion.
2. All prizes are not redeemable for cash and not transferable.
3. Each prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Visa Prezzie Card® and RDC accepts no responsibility for costs or disputes that arise from the use of Visa Prezzie Card®
4. No correspondence will be entered into. In their absolute discretion, the organisers reserve the right to verify the validity of all entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
5. Organisers make no representations or warranties as to the quality or suitability of any of the goods and services offered; and accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit.
6. RDC and organisers reserve the right to refuse to award any prize to an entrant who organisers decide (with sole discretion) has violated the Terms and Conditions, gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.

General:

1. The entrant releases from and indemnifies the organisers against all liability, cost. Loss or expense arising out of the entrants participation in the promotion, or breach of these terms and conditions including but not limited to, loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
