Annual Plan & Co 2026/27

Rangitīkei District Council will begin formal consultation on the Annual Plan & Co 2026/27 document which provides an overview of what we have planned for the next year. We ask that you give us feedback on if we have this right and what you want to hear about more from us.

Council is proposing to update and amend its Revenue and Financing Policy and Rates Remission Policy which are also available for feedback.

Fees and Charges 2026/27

Pursuant to section 83 of the Local Government Act 2002, Council is seeking feedback on proposed amendments to our Fees and Charges 2026/27.

Council’s Fees and Charges are reviewed annually. Fees and Charges represent either total or partial cost recoveries for specific services provided by Council. They encompass a wide range of activities including building consents and
halls for hire. Your feedback on proposed changes to these is welcome.

Consultation commences on Monday, 16 March 2026 and the feedback period closes on Friday, 17 April 2026.

Submissions can be made using the online submission form on Council’s website
www.rangitikei.govt.nz. Hard copies are also available at Council’s service centers in Taihape, Marton and Bulls. Hard copy submissions can be returned via freepost or dropped into one of our main service centres listed above.
