Long Term Plan 2024-2034 Submissions

The formal consultation process on the Where's it @Rangitīkei occurred across March 2024 until 7 April 2024.

There were three key choices highlighted for consultation:

  • Key Choice 1: Marton pool
  • Key Choice 2: Kerbside collection
  • Key Choice 3: Marton main street upgrade

We received a total of 454 submissions and 23 submitters presented to Council during the Oral Hearings.

Officers prepared a report compiling an analysis of all the feedback and information we received from written and oral submissions broken down into key choices and then all of the activity areas of Council that submissions aligned to.

This report was considered by Elected Members at the 16 May 2024 Council meeting, and has been updated based on Council’s decisions.
