The Lobby – Taihape
The Lobby – Taihape is the local ‘Drop in’ youth space and is open to 10 – 18 year olds, offering a safe an inclusive space with free wifi, a pool table/ table tennis, computers, PS5. It is a place to come and whakawhanaungatanga, relax have a hot drink, some kai and a kōrero. Throughout the year we have a range of free youth-led activities in our Lobby, so come share your wonderful ideas.
The Lobby's is located at 100a Hautapu Street, on the main street of Taihape (next door to Westpac).
It's your safe place to just hang out, in your home away from home.
Open – Monday & Tuesdays 2.30pm – 5pm
(Hours & Days can differ during the year, due to sports/training requirements)
- Monday – Ages 13-18yrs
- Tuesday – Ages 10-12yrs

Please make sure that all tamariki are capable of getting home or have somewhere to go as another option, as some days The Lobby may be spontaneously closed due to staff commitments and/or staff illness. (This will be advertised on The Lobby door)
The Lobby may also close due to alternative holiday programs during school holidays.
