Ngā Awa Block Maintenance

Maintenance work is taking place on the public toilet and shower facilities of the Nga Awa Block from Monday 13 April until Wednesday 22 April. During this time, the referee changing rooms will be available for use between the hours of 6:00am and 9:00pm.

Any person who is considering standing for election to the Rangitikei District Council or the Ratana/Taihape Community Boards is invited to attend candidate briefing sessions on Thursday 4 August 2016.

These will be at 4pm in Taihape and 7pm in Marton.

These sessions will be held in the respective Council Chambers.

The sessions will be facilitated by Council’s Electoral Officers and the Chief Executive. It is intended that they will provide interested persons with information on the process of standing for election and expectations of elected members. These sessions are not ‘meet the candidate evenings’ and current Elected Members will not be involved.
