Application of Controlled Pesticides

Council wishes to advise that Horizons Regional Council is preparing to undertake possum control work in the Coastal Bulls Possum Control Operational area commencing 15 March 2021.

The work is part of the Council's Possum Control Operation (PCO) approved in the Long Term Community Plan. Control work involves the ground based use of the controlled pesticide potassium cyanide (Feratox) and Brodificoum.
