Covid Restrictions Cause Delays with Processing Consents

Due to the current restrictions under Alert Level 4, Rangitīkei District Council cannot process consents, and customers are being advised to expect consent processing delays.

At present, consents need to be processed manually at the Council office. However, due to the current restrictions, this is not able to be done. Once we have moved to Alert Level 2, we'll start to process consents again.

Council is moving to an electronic system to process consents, and we hope to have this system operating by the end of this year.
