Pavement testing - Broadway, Marton

Downer NZ are planning to undertake pavement testing on the roundabout located between Broadway and Wellington Road on Sunday, 19 July between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. A stop/go operation will be implemented to enable the workers to undertake the test pits on areas around the roundabout and traffic will be held for short periods at a time in each direction.

Reuse Drop-Off Shop Marton Waste Transfer Station

If you have any items that are too good to throw away bring them to the ‘reuse shop’ at the Marton Transfer Station where they will be sold. Some items like electrical appliances are not accepted, our attendant at the Transfer Station will be able to give you more information about these.

The proceeds from the reuse shop help keep costs down as they go towards running the Transfer Station.
