Greenwaste

The stations that accept greenwaste are now Marton, Bulls, Taihape, Ratana and Hunterville.

The Rangitikei Waste Transfer Stations will accept:

Sticks & Twigs
Grass cuttings
Weeds
Prunings
Leaves
Flowers & Plants
Hedge clippings

Please advise the attendant on arrival if your grass clippings have been treated with the poison clopyralid.

In order to successfully compost our greenwaste we cannot accept any of these items mixed in with greenwaste:

Flax, Cabbage Trees
Palms, Agapanthus and Bamboo
Branches over 250mm thick
Food and kitchen waste
Concrete and stones
Dirt and Soil
Treated wood waste
General rubbish
