Greenwaste

Greenwaste is only accepted at Marton, Bulls, Taihape, Rātana and Hunterville.

The Rangitikei Waste Transfer Stations will accept:

• Sticks & Twigs
• Grass cuttings
• Weeds
• Prunings
• Leaves
• Flowers & Plants
• Hedge clippings

Please advise the attendant on arrival if your grass clippings have been treated with the poison clopyralid.

In order to successfully compost our greenwaste we cannot accept any of these items mixed in with greenwaste:

• Flax, Cabbage Trees
• Palms, Agapanthus and Bamboo
• Branches over 250mm thick
• Food and kitchen waste
• Concrete and stones
• Dirt and Soil
• Treated wood waste
• General rubbish
