Marton Harvest Festival 2026 - CANCELLED

We’re incredibly disappointed to announce that due to Cyclone Vaianu predicted to impact the Rangitīkei District on Sunday, 12 April, we’ve made the decision to cancel this year’s Marton Harvest Festival.

We know that this festival is one of the highlights of the year for many of our residents, and attracts thousands of visitors to the district. However, the safety of people and property is our priority, and so we’ve made this decision now to provide certainty to our vendors, entertainers, volunteers and attendees. We also explored alternative dates - none of which would work for everyone involved.

We’d like to thank everyone who has helped put together this year’s festival, and we apologise to those who are disappointed that it won’t be going ahead. We’ll be back in 2027 bigger and better to make up for it.
