Candidate nominations are open Friday 4 July 2025 and close at midday on Friday 1 August 2025.

The nomination process involves:
- Obtain nominations from two people - candidates cannot nominate themselves, and people who nominate candidates must be over 18 years old and enrolled to vote in the area the candidate is planning to stand.
- Complete an official nomination form (linked above) and send this to the Council’s electoral officer.
- A $200 deposit must be paid when you submit your nomination for each position you run for. This may be refunded depending on election results.
Planning and time management are key to ensuring you have a smooth nomination process. We recommend completing your nomination as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
