Community invited to attend memorial tree planting

To acknowledge the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Rangitīkei District Council will be planting a memorial tree at Marton Park on Saturday 26 November at 10am.

The new tree, a Copper Beech, will be planted near the site of the large Conifer tree that was recently removed due to decay.

Please join Mayor Andy Watson, Ngā Wairiki Ngāti Apa and the Marton RSA for this special planting to remember The Queen and her years of service.
