Rangitīkei District Council temporary operating hours

The operating hours for our council offices, libraries and waste transfer stations will be changing over the Christmas period. Refer to the information below for our temporary opening hours.

Rangitīkei District Council offices:

Rangitīkei District Council offices will be closed from midday 23rd December and will reopen on Monday 9th January.

Libraries:

• Taihape: Closed from midday 24th December to 26th December 2022.
  Closed Christmas and Boxing Day reopening Tuesday 27th December..
• Bulls: Closed from midday 24th December to 26th December 2022.
  Closed Christmas and Boxing Day reopening Tuesday 27th December.
• Marton: Closed from midday 24th December to 27th December 2022, and the 1st to 3rd of January 2023.
  Closed Christmas, Boxing Day and day after Boxing Day reopening Wednesday 28th December. Then closed again New Years Day, New Years Day holiday and the day after New Years Day holiday reopening Wednesday 4th January 2023.

Waste Transfer Stations:

All waste transfer stations will be closed on Sunday 25 December until Monday 26 December and Sunday 1 January 2023 until Monday 2 January. Operating hours may also differ slightly outside of these days. To see our temporary operating hours, please visit Waste Transfer Stations in our region.

Swim Centres:

The Taihape and Marton Swim will be open from 10am to 5pm from Saturday 24 December until Sunday 8 January, except for Christmas Day when the Swim Centres will be closed. The Swim Centres will operate as normal outside of these days.
