CCTV and Webcams

Council owns and maintains a network of CCTVs in the main streets of Bulls, Marton, Hunterville and Taihape. Their purpose is to increase the community's safety and assist the Police in detecting crime in these areas. Access (both real time and historical) is limited to the Police.

Webcams in Bulls

The purpose of the two webcams in Bulls (one on the outside of the Bulls bus terminal / information centre and one on the back of the Bulls Town Hall) are to record, for historical purposes, the building of new Bulls Community Centre. The footage will also be used to provide the public with a time-lapse view of the build (for public interest reasons), and also for security purposes, if required.
