There are lots of services available in the Rangitīkei District to help you access welfare and support you might need, including kai (food) pantries and government assistance.

Free kai

Bulls Food Pantry
Marton Churches Food Pantry
Marton and Bulls Kai/Food Pantry
Mokai Patea Services offer support and advice to link whānau (families) with food banks (ie. Gary, Meals on Wheels) and other supporting agencies.

Government support

Ministry of Social Development: Access a wide range of service providers who offer assistance to individuals and families through the Ministry of Social Development's comprehensive Family Services directory.
Work and Income: Whether you’re in need of financial support, help getting into work, or emergency housing, Work and Income may be able to support you.
