Planned Works Listen During this time of the winter season no major works are planned. Major project work will begin again in August/September.Tennants Road seal widening is due to start during September, weather permitting. Chorus is currently laying the fibre optic cable network (UFB) in Marton. Work started in at the north end of Marton and is progressively heading toward the south end of town. The area being worked on is in the footpath and grass berms. Contractors are backfilling excavations as the work progresses, the public are asked to take care around the areas being work on.
