Draft Development Contributions Policy
Rangitikei District Council is consulting on the draft Development Contributions Policy
The Policy
Section 102(1) of the Local Government Act 2002 requires the Council to adopt a policy on development contributions or financial contributions. Section 106(6) of that Act requires such a policy to be reviewed at least every three years using a consultation process that gives effect to the requirements of section 82.
Proposed Changes to the Policy
Councils Current Policy is to not require development contributions. Council is not proposing any changes to this policy.
Submissions
Written submissions from the community are open until 5pm Sunday 7 April, 2024.
Anyone who makes a written submission may also make an oral submission. If you wish to make an oral submission please indicate this on your submission form.
