Customer/Visitor Conduct Policy

Rangitīkei District Council (RDC) provides a range of community facilities for people to visit and enjoy, and where they can interact with its workforce. Customers who visit our facilities and/or who interact with us through other avenues such as phone and email can
expect to:

  • Be provided with friendly and helpful service
  • Be treated with courtesy and respect
  • Be in a safe and welcoming environment

Likewise, RDC expects its visitors to:

  • Treat RDC workers and other visitors with courtesy and respect
  • Follow all reasonable safety rules or instructions
  • Treat buildings and everything within them with care

This policy defines our approach for dealing with the very small minority of people whose behaviour becomes unreasonable and/or unacceptable. It also lays out the actions we might take to manage unreasonable and/or unacceptable customer conduct.
